A new partnership is bringing EV charger site hosts new, integrated solutions that will serve customers in single- or multi-family dwellings all the way up to commercial fleets and public charging.
Autel Energy, a U.S.-based charger manufacturer, and Toronto-based ChargeLab, which develops charger management software, are offering their EV charging solutions with both Level 2 and DC fast-chargers available.
Autel will build and provide the MaxiCharger units, which are designed to operate from -40°C to 55°C, with NEMA 4X-rated enclosures to protect against the elements.
Meanwhile, ChargeLab will supply the cloud-based charging station management system (CSMS) using open charge point protocol (OCPP), with features such as load balancing, flexible pricing and monetization, access control and driver authentication and real-time monitoring and diagnostics.
ChargeLab will also employ its Spark AI for data analysis that will assist with automated network operations and software maintenance.
EV-olution Charging Systems will be the preferred Canadian distributor.
“As a Canadian distributor focused on delivering complete EV charging solutions, the Autel and ChargeLab combination is exactly what customers have been asking for. Local 24×7 support offered by Chargelab is a key to customer satisfaction,” said Yuri Yudashkin, CTO of EV-olution Charging Systems.
The Autel/ChargeLab partnership will also deliver $0 per month cloud plans and carbon credit financial returns based off Clean Fuel Regulations and other government incentive programs.
ChargeLab’s platform already supports Canadian currency and taxes, to make it easier for network owners to manage billing right from start, the company says.
