Join us for this free virtual event on September 10, 2026, to learn how major fleet operators are deploying medium- and heavy-duty electric trucks and where they see them in the future.

From the country’s largest grocery retailer to a leading drayage fleet for the Port of Vancouver, electric medium- and heavy-duty trucks are now part of daily operations across the country. But what will it take to push these zero-emissions vehicles and their routes further to maximize their potential?

You’ll hear leading electric fleet operators Loblaw Companies and R.R. Plett talk about their experiences operating MHDV battery-electric trucks today. The discussion will cover everything from range, payload and charging to the economics of electrifying a fleet. Panelists will delve into where these vehicles are working today, what charging and infrastructure considerations shape deployment and what needs to be in place to expand to more routes.

This virtual event is brought to you in partnership with PACT – Powering America’s Commercial Transportation.

Our panelists:

  • Daniel Truong, Senior Analyst, Transport Maintenance, Loblaw Companies Limited
  • Steve Woodward, Fleet Sales Manager, Volvo Trucks Canada
  • Trevor Plett, Chief Operations Officer, R.R. Plett Trucking
  • Ilana Weitzman, VP of Strategic Development, Clean Transportation (Moderator), Electric Autonomy
