Join us on October 15 for a discussion on how shared charging hubs can facilitate operations for medium- and heavy-duty EV fleets

Installing the charging infrastructure for a medium- or heavy-duty private fleet can be expensive and slow to permit and connect to the grid. Once installed on a site, those chargers often sit empty for much of the day. Shared charging depots or hubs are emerging as a solution: one grid connection and better utilization translate into better economics and faster deployment.

This episode brings together innovative companies in real estate, energy management and retail sales that are building and operating shared charging hubs in Canada and the United States.

The discussion will touch on:

  • what the shared depot model enables for electric fleets and where they are working today
  • how operations work, from booking a charger to billing
  • the structure of fleet agreements and the revenue model for these sites
  • the status of shared charging depots in the Canadian market
  • how peer-to-peer sharing and other novel sites could increase access to charging
  • and much more.
